HUD Sends Proposed Draft RESPA Rule to Congress for Review

July 11, 2002

HUD sent a draft of the long-awaited proposed rule to reform the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act to Congress July 5. The proposed rule is over 100 pages long so we have divided it into three parts to assist your viewing. (please be patient these are large files)

Congress has until July 20 to review the draft proposed rule before HUD submits it to the Federal Register for a mandatory 90-day comment period.
