Downturn in Market Addressed at Upcoming Forum

Home sales are down.New home starts are down.Mortgage applications are down. Is your order count down? How will you cope?

"How will you cope?" is just one of the questions to be addressed during the ALTA Small Agents and Abstracters Forum (SAAF) to be held November 11-12 at the Marriott Cincinnati Airport.

Ed Miller, ALTA Chief Council and Vice President of Public Policy will update attendees on hot topics affecting the industry including ALTA's response to the recent Forbes Magazine article, how the election results will affect the industry, and the status of the GAO study. Cindy King, ALTA Education Committee Chair, is also on the agenda to discuss the tools that ALTA has to help you in training your staff.

"This forum is designed for small agents to gather and exchange information to help deal with the many challenging issues we face each day" says Mike Nichols, Chair of the SAAF, "Learning from other small agents as to how they are coping with the downturn in today's market will be extremely beneficial in helping attendees to manage during this lean period."
