American Land Title Association Announces CertifID as an Elite Provider
Washington, DC, September 17, 2020 — The American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry, announced it has named CertifID as an ALTA Elite Provider.
ALTA’s Elite Provider Program features distinguished service providers committed to furnishing extensive benefits to the title insurance and settlement services industry. Elite Providers promote the highest industry standards and provide effective solutions for ALTA members’ critical needs.

CertifID is a digital solution that protects title agents and their customers from wire fraud. It was created by attorneys and large title agents, Lawrence Duthler and Tom Cronkright, in response to a wire fraud incident involving their agency, Sun Title. Since launching in 2017, CertifID has provided title agents with a solution that lowers risk and protects incoming and outgoing wire and ACH transfers. It recently partnered with one of the world’s largest insurance underwriters to provide title agents and consumers with direct insurance coverage up to $1 million per wire transfer.
