Washington Resident Earns ALTA National Title Professional Recognition

Washington, DC, November 13, 2018 — Maureen Pfaff has been awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry. Formally acknowledged with her NTP designation on Oct. 1, 2018, Pfaff joins 95 other leaders from across the United States who also have devoted their careers and themselves to the land title insurance industry.

The designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.*

“The NTP designation is bestowed only upon land title industry professionals who have made an extraordinary commitment to the industry and proved themselves through a rigorous vetting process,” said ALTA President Cynthia Durham Blair NTP. “Maureen’s hard work, extensive experience and sharp intellect make her an excellent example for the industry; her designation is well-deserved. I invite other land title insurance experts to apply for this achievement.”

Pfaff has been with Olympic Peninsula Title in Port Angeles, Wash., since 2005; named president and chief executive officer in June 2017, she has also served as vice president and chief financial officer for the company. Pfaff currently is serving her second year on the ALTA Board of Governors as a representative for the Agents & Abstracters Section. A past president of the Washington Land Title Association (WLTA), she received her Washington Title Professional (WTP) designation on Sept. 25, 2018. Pfaff serves on many ALTA committees as well as the WLTA’s WTP committee.
