American Land Title Association Honors Cindy Guanell with National Title Professional Recognition

Washington, DC, October 5, 2018 — Cindy Guanell ITP has been awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry. Having attained the NTP designation on September 1, 2018, Guanell joins more than 80 other industry leaders from around the United States who have earned the professional designation.

The designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.*

“Cindy’s knowledge of our industry combined with her professionalism makes her the ideal National Title Professional,” said ALTA President Steven G. Day NTP. “Her dedication and enthusiasm for the land title industry make her a much-deserved recipient of a NTP designation. I encourage other Idaho land title insurance professionals to apply for this designation.”

A title-industry professional since 1991, Guanell is regional underwriter of the Mountain States, including Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, for First American Title Insurance Co. in Boise, ID. Guanell also earned her Idaho Title Professional designation on Aug. 22, 2018. She previously served on the Idaho Land Title Association (ILTA) Board as president from 2015-2016 as well as chair of ILTA’s Judiciary and Education committees. Guanell is a member of ALTA’s Native American Lands Committee and serves the land title industry as a speaker for state land title associations and First American agents.
