The Docket: Ninth Circuit Holds Unrecorded Road Map Is Public Record

Shawn Briner of the law firm Briner Law Group LLC provided today’s review of a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth District that held a county road does not need to be filed in the land records to be a “public record.” Read on to learn why this ruling could open the industry to increased liability.
