CATIC Releases New Search Integration Platform

CATIC announced the release of a new search integration platform called Title Order Packaging System (TOPS).

The system replaces the desktop application that was previously used by the company, its agents and title searchers.

The platform has been deployed in Florida and parts of Connecticut and will soon be available in all CATIC’s offices that offer title services. The platform integrates with PrepExpress Online, the company’s web-based customized closing tool. CATIC said it is working with other third-party software providers in order to ensure that TOPS will also integrate with those programs.

Agents and title searchers who use TOPS will have the ability to customize their order screen so that it reflects the information that they wish to view. They will be able to securely access search orders and instructions, invoices, back title information, and other supporting documentation with ease. The platform covers all the tasks involved in the process, from the search order request to the input of the final product.

“We are excited about this enhancement to the company’s title services,” said CATIC Vice President Michael Savenelli. “The program will enable both our agents and searchers to perform their jobs more efficiently at no cost to them.”
