North American Title Names North Carolina Agency Manager

North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC) has added Marissa Vest as the state agency manager for North Carolina. Vest has built relationships nationwide with the top 50 mortgage originators, retail and consumer direct firms, mortgage servicers, REO companies, law firms and national service providers.

“For much of her career, Marissa and NATIC agents shared a common customer: Mortgage lenders. Working with NATIC, she can open doors for our agents, offering a different perspective on client relationships and sharing her knowledge regarding business development,” said Rich Griffin, NATIC vice president and national sales manager. “NATIC agents will see the benefit immediately of working with Marissa to enhance their lender relationships. Her ability to give input on strategies to secure new relationships is one of her superpowers.”

Vest’s career spans more than 20 years in the mortgage, title and settlement services industries. Prior to joining NATIC, she was vice president of mortgage banking and partner services at Menlo Capital LLC, a private investment and real estate services company. In that position, she hosted educational forums to improve client understanding of title insurance and settlement services as well as nurtured existing and new client accounts.

Previously, Vest served as vice president national sales for Equity National Title & Closing and spent 15 years working in various sales and account executive roles for title companies in North Carolina.

“I was attracted to NATIC because of the company’s reputation for strong leadership and commitment to their clients and associates,” Vest said. “When I met Rich and learned about the company’s culture and how that extends into the associates’ devotion to their agents, I had an immediate interest in being a part of that. I’ve been committed to enhancing relationships between title agents and lenders for years, specifically with training and education, and now I have the opportunity to do that in an environment that fosters growth for title agents.”
