North American Title Appoints Division President, Manager of Illinois

February 28, 2019

North American Title Co. has named Rob Wahlen division president and manager for its Illinois region. He will report to Eastern Division President Michael Montalvo.

“Rob understands the business from the marketing, sales and communications perspective all the way to the nuts and bolts of the challenging underwriting and commercial transaction decisions,” Montalvo said. “Not only has he been one of our most successful sales representatives, he constantly amazes me with his broad capabilities and business acumen in the title business. In addition, he has proven to be an innate leader over the past few years as he has taken on increasing responsibility, and I am confident he will be a great inspiration and resource for our associates in the region.”

Prior to joining NATC in 2011, Wahlen served as an escrow officer for three years, developing an intimate knowledge of title underwriting, examination and claims procedures for one of the largest title insurance underwriters in the nation. Previously, he spent 15 years with Professional National Title Network Inc.

“There are so many exciting changes going on at North American Title and I feel honored and energized to lead our talented and experienced associates into what promises to be a very bright future,” Wahlen said. “Because I have stepped into many different roles over the past eight years at NATC, I bring a broad understanding of the day-to-day challenges each of our departments face and can provide the necessary insight and leadership to fine tune our processes for the ultimate benefit of our customers.”
