North Dakota Governor Reappoints ALTA Member to Board of Higher Education

February 7, 2019

Nick Hacker, president of North Dakota Guaranty & Title Co., was reappointed to the North Dakota Board of Higher Education by Gov. Doug Burgum.

Hacker has served on the board since 2015 and serves as vice-chairperson. His re-appointment begins July 1 for a four-year-term, pending Senate approval.

The Board of Higher Education has eight voting members appointed by the governor, including a student member, and two non-voting members who represent the North Dakota University System’s faculty and staff. The board oversees the system’s 11 public colleges and universities.
