Old Republic Bolsters National Commercial Title Services Team

November 8, 2018

Old Republic Title announced it has promoted David Sallean to associate director of the company’s National Commercial Title Services (NCTS) group.

He reports to Michael Skalka, executive vice president and director of commercial underwriting and business development for NCTS. Sallean assumes the duties of Jim Ryan, marketing director for NCTS, who retired on Oct. 1.

“David has been involved with and provided valued input into every major marketing decision we have made for NCTS,” Ryan said. “His national commercial experience gained as a senior executive has been vital to our success. I am confident David will excel in his new position.”

Sallean, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, joined Old Republic Title in 2013. Before joining the company, he was senior vice president and associate national commercial division director for another major title insurance underwriter. Prior to that, Sallean was chief financial officer for two companies.
