Black Knight Integrates Nationwide Tax Solutions With RamQuest

November 8, 2018

Black Knight Inc. has integrated its nationwide tax solutions with RamQuest’s Closing Market digital network, an application-to-application interface that electronically connects title and settlement agents with lenders, underwriters, vendors and other business partners. The integration with Closing Market enables title companies to order Black Knight’s property tax data directly from their RamQuest title production system.

Black Knight's tax solutions draw from the company’s nationwide property database, which includes information obtained directly from assessor and tax collector offices. According to Black Knight, the solutions deliver reliable, real-time tax data and certificates on properties located across the U.S., including non-disclosure states such as Texas. The company’s tax certificates and reports include a multitude of key information, such as current and prior-year tax bill amounts; payment status; calculated payoffs; and payment instructions for delinquent taxes that may exist prior to closing.

“We are pleased that Black Knight is part of our network of integrated providers,” said Ben Cork, RamQuest’s chief strategy officer. “Our Closing Market network enables real-time collaboration between title companies and service providers, and Black Knight’s tax solutions will further enhance the products and services available to our users.”

Matt Reilly, Black Knight’s senior vice president of settlement services, added, “The integration gives RamQuest clients quick and efficient access to our industry-leading tax solutions directly though their RamQuest title production system. Black Knight’s goal is to continually deliver a high level of accuracy through integrated data solutions to help our clients increase efficiencies, improve the borrower experience and reduce our clients’ claim exposure.”
