Simplifile Expands E-recording in Florida

February 8, 2018

Manatee County in Florida became the latest jurisdiction to implement Simplifile’s e-recording platform.

“We are pleased to offer e-recording as an added efficiency for our customers,” said Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Angel Colonneso.

Manatee County joins 51 other Florida counties that also offer e-recording through Simplifile.

“E-recording is a win-win for the county and for its customers, saving time and money on mailing expenses and eliminating paper waste among other benefits,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “We’re thrilled to be working with Manatee County and helping provide this user-friendly service that streamlines the overall recording process.”

The clerk’s office is now able to electronically receive, stamp, record, and return documents through Simplifile’s system in a matter of minutes, thus reducing documentation and processing errors.

More than 1,735 counties e-record with Simplifile.
