Westcor Appoints Underwriting Counsel and Michigan Agency Rep

Westcor Land Title Insurance Company appointed John Baumbick as underwriting counsel and Michigan agency representative. In this role, Baumbick will continue to increase Westcor’s brand presence in the state of Michigan and assist as underwriting counsel for the underwriter’s national agency division.

Baumbick has served as general counsel for the national lender services division of two different large underwriters and has been both a title agent and served as associate corporate counsel for a large Ohio agency.

“I am delighted to have John join our underwriting team,” said Richard Bramhall, chief underwriting counsel. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and familiarity with the unique demands of multi-state agent needs as well as excellent title business acumen from having run his own agency. He will be a excellent additional resource for our network of regional underwriters.”
