The Docket: Federal Court Rules Title Company Not Liable for Undiscovered Public Beach Access

Laura S. Bauman, special counsel in the Sarasota, Fla., office of Adams and Reese LLP, provided today’s review of a recent decision by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida that held a title company’s searching obligations do not extend to matters outside the chain of title.
