Boston National Title Opens New San Diego Office

Boston National Title Agency announced the opening of a new office in San Diego.
Danette Starling, a title professional with more than 30 years of industry experience, joined the company as senior commercial title officer. Although the new office will also handle residential transactions, the company said Starling was hired for her reputation throughout Southern California for successfully managing and completing commercial deals. Her specialties include high liability products, leasehold properties, default and bankruptcy, conservatorships, multi-site transactions and construction loans.
“I’ve spent over three decades developing relationships with some of Southern California’s most respected lenders, developers, commercial brokers and attorneys,” Starling said. “Now that I’m with Boston National, my clients can count on me to get the deal done whether it’s in or outside of California.”
The new San Diego office and hiring of Starling is the latest in a series of moves by the Charlotte, N.C.-based Boston National to grow its national commercial services business. The company also recently purchased a significant stake in New York-based Insignia Title Agency and added several professionals to the now Insignia-BNT’s roster of commercial title attorneys.
“There is a growing need in the commercial sector for a local title services professional with access to a national license footprint,” said Boston National CEO John Keratsis. “Deals have become so complicated and there’s so much on the line that developers, realtors and commercial real estate law firms want a seasoned commercial title professional as part of their core team.”
