HomeServices of America Announces Vice President of Title and Escrow

March 25, 2014

HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, announced that Jim Lamphere has assumed the role of vice president of title and escrow services. Lamphere, reporting to president and chief operating officer, Robert Moline, will be responsible for growing the HomeServices Title and Closing Network including workflow, technology and establishing new business opportunities for the network. In this role, Lamphere will also serve as the primary liaison with both the American Land Title Association and the federal and state legislative bodies on title industry-related issues and concerns affecting the HomeServices’ title and escrow companies.

Lamphere has served as president of Nebraska Land Title & Abstract since 1998 where he was responsible for the underwriting decisions and management of one of the largest title operations in Southeast Nebraska. Lamphere is a licensed title agent in Nebraska, a past member of the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Land Title Association and a past president of the association.

“Jim has been part of the HomeServices’ family for more than 15 years and brings a wealth of experience and industry relationships,” said Moline. “He has tremendous insight into the challenges and opportunities within the title and escrow industry and will be a valuable resource to the HomeServices executive leadership team.”
