December 12, 2013

WFG National Title Insurance Co. has added Sandra Pfeiffer to its compliance and audit department as senior vice president, senior auditor. In this role, Pfeiffer is charged with creating audit programs, protocols and internal controls designed to test and maintain the company’s operational soundness. She will also be responsible for extending the company’s compliance programs to direct operations, internal service centers and WFG’s network of title agents.

A certified fraud examiner since 2007, Pfeiffer comes to WFG National Title with 17 years of experience. She was most recently a senior consultant with Deloitte & Touche, working in audit and enterprise risk services for over two years. Before that, Pfeiffer spent 13 years with one of the nation’s largest title underwriters, holding the role of manager of audit services for much of that period. She began her career in the title insurance industry with the Texas Department of Insurance after receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. Pfeiffer also received a master of science in forensic studies with a concentration in investigations from Stevenson University.

“WFG takes great pride in serving as an industry leader in compliance. We take our responsibilities as a national title insurance underwriter seriously and strive to implement and follow the highest standards of compliance, internal controls and accountability for all our operations," said Donald O’Neill, EVP and chief compliance officer for WFG National Title. “Sandy’s extraordinary skills as a certified fraud examiner and forensic auditor in combination with her industry experience again signals our commitment to leading the way for the industry in a new era of compliance and accountability.”
