Entrust Expands into Louisiana

August 6, 2013

Entrust Solutions, a title insurance servicing company, announced it is now offering its Nexus Program and centralized disbursing service in Louisiana.

The Nexus Program—which allows small to medium size agents and attorneys a platform to conduct real estate closings with little risk—gives many attorneys and agents in Louisiana a chance to stay in business as underwriters remittance requirements continue to increase, according to Jonathon Yasko, founder and managing member of Entrust.

“The majority of agents and attorneys in the title insurance industry are the mom-and-pop shops,” Yasko said. “The impending changes are going to push these people out and it’s not right.”

Yasko said Entrust Solutions purpose is to provide real estate professionals assistance in many capacities and is dedicated to cement the role of the independent agent, regardless of size.

“I started off in this industry with a small title agency and it’s these agencies that are now facing the risk of extinction because of the lack of remittances,” Yasko said.

Entrust, a super-agent consisting of its Nexus Agents, is currently operating in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Currently, Entrust is appointed by Security Title of Baltimore, Old Republic Title, WFG National Title and First American.

“We have underwriters and options to keep agents in the game,” Yasko said.

Entrust is evaluating possible expansion into Indiana and Virginia.
