Short Sale Software Releases Upgrade

January 12, 2010

ELK Software has released its latest upgrade to its short sale processing software, Short Sale Commander. The newly released version 3.0 allows users to assign guest access to agents or homeowners so they can get real-time updates without calling or e-mailing for the status of the short sale. They will also be able to add comments directly into the file as well.

Short Sale Commander is used by listing agents, brokerages, title and short sale companies to streamline the process and easily manage the exponential growth of their short sales.

“Allowing everyone to communicate in one portal is a significant upgrade for our clients,” said Erik Lovell, president of ELK Software, the creators of Short Sale Commander. “The guest access feature lets our customers spend more time building their short sale business and less time updating everyone with the progress.”

Users grant guest access to agents or homeowners so they can see the progress of both the first and second mortgages, as well as any shared comments the user makes available. The user has full control over who gains access and how much they see.

Along with the guest access feature, Version 3.0 also includes enhancements to pipeline reporting, e-mail functionality, daily activity log and the short sale package creator. Other important features include lender specific short sale forms, online documents, property mapping, photos, lender Websites and dashboard and profitability reporting.

There is no additional cost for v3.0 and it includes an unlimited number of properties and guest users.
