Ohio Land Title Association Added to List of State Associations Adopting the Principles of Fair Conduct

October 29, 2007

Five land title associations have adopted the Principles of Fair Conduct:Indiana, Virginia, Ohio, Oklahoma and Illinois. All have voted to adopt and support the Principles of Fair Conduct -- part of ALTA's Title Industry Consumer Initiative -- a multi-faceted strategy for improving oversight of the industry and educating and protecting consumers.

These state affiliates will inform their members through newsletters and meetings to help spread the word about the Initiative and Principles of Fair Conduct and encourage members to adopt them in their own title companies.

Has your company adopted the Principles yet? Learn more about the Title Industry Consumer Initiative and how you can get involved.
