IDSoftware Selected by First American Title Insurance Company of Louisiana to Provide Identification Solution for Louisiana Road Home Program

Fort Myers, FL -- IDSoftware, a biometric identification management company, announced that it has been selected by First American Title Insurance Company of Louisiana to participate in The Road Home program. The Road Home program was created by Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco and the State of Louisiana to provide up to $150,000 to eligible homeowners whose primary residences were destroyed or severely damaged following Hurricane Katrina or Rita. The program is designed to get affected Louisiana residents back into safe, affordable housing as quickly and fairly as possible.
IDSoftware is delivering PrintSearch ™, IDSoftware's industry leading fingerprint biometric identification software. PrintSearch ™ will allow the project team to capture an applicant's fingerprint at time of program enrollment, and provide verification of identification on the same individuals as they receive distribution funds from the Road Home program. The PrintSearch™ program will substantially reduce fraudulent attempts to receive benefits from the federally funded program. The PrintSearch™ program was implemented as part of the Road Home program in late November of 2006 and has immediately shown to be an overwhelming success.
