May 10, 2005

HOUSTON - Hank Rush, a long-time Houston technology executive, has joined REIData Inc. as its new president and chief executive officer.

"I am excited Hank has joined REIData as president and CEO," said Don O'Neill, chairman, REIData and REI group president for Stewart Title Co. "Hank has more than 20 years experience managing technology-oriented businesses delivering high-quality solutions to customers.

"As part of the interview process, it was critical for the candidate to embrace the vision of making PropertyInfo.com the informational portal for all real estate professionals, and Hank saw it right away," added O'Neill. "REIData is one of the fastest-growing business segments in the real estate information (REI) group at Stewart Title and Hank's leadership is essential to its continued success."

Rush most recently served as chairman of the board and co-founder of EC Power Inc., an Internet transaction services company, guiding its initial growth in the energy sector for nine years. EC Power achieved recognition in "The Houston 100" annual ranking of top-growth companies four times since 1998 and was cited in the "FastTECH 50" technology company annual ranking for Houston in 2001.

"Coming to REIData is an exciting entrepreneurial opportunity in a strong, traditional company with a great market," said Rush. "As our industry moves more rapidly toward technologies replacing paper-based systems, we are pleased to be building this comprehensive, Web-based product offering for real estate, mortgage and title professionals, with a national scope."

Previously, Rush had served as founder, president and chief executive officer of a high-end Houston residential construction company, and as vice president and management committee member for BMC Software Inc. He also served in a variety of positions for 17 years for Texas Eastern Corp. He was the senior executive for enterprise information technology (IT) and as president of the IT outsourcing company. He led the combined IT organization formed through the merger of Texas Eastern with Panhandle Eastern Corp.

Rush has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Louisiana Tech University and has completed executive development programs at Harvard University, Pennsylvania State University and the Rice University Continuing Education Management Development Program.
