The First American Corporation Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend

SANTA ANA, Calif., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF - News) has announced that its board of directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 8 cents per common share.

The cash dividend is payable on Oct. 15, 2002, to shareholders of record as of Sept. 30, 2002. First American has paid a cash dividend for each of the last 93 years.
