LandAmerica Appoints Rosa Esqueda as Vice President and Manager For LandAmerica Exchange Company

RICHMOND, Va., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc., (NYSE: LFG) has promoted Rosa Esqueda to vice president and manager for LandAmerica Exchange Company in Pleasanton and Pasadena, California. An experienced industry professional dedicated to providing specialized tax-deferred exchange services, Esqueda will be responsible for all matters affecting both the Pasadena and Pleasanton offices.

Most recently, Esqueda served as vice president and manager for LandAmerica Exchange Company's Pasadena office. She joined Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation in 1989 as senior escrow officer and manager and has since been involved in thousands of tax-deferred exchanges.

As vice president and manager of both Pleasanton and Pasadena, her principal responsibility will be to lead the transformation of the Pleasanton office into the primary, national production facility for LandAmerica Exchange Company (LEC).

Esqueda holds the professional designation of Certified Senior Escrow Officer from the California Escrow Association. She has also completed many advanced educational programs in the area of like-kind exchanges given by the Federation of Exchange Association, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the International Law Institute. Esqueda is an active member of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators, Commercial Real Estate Women -LA, the American Escrow Association, California Escrow Association and Escrow Associates of San Gabriel Valley.
