Fill Out the 2023 Cybercrime Study Today

As a title insurance professional, you likely have experienced a wire fraud attempt and are concerned about cybersecurity. Please join your peers in completing ALTA’s short Cybercrime Study before it closes on Monday, Nov. 13, to share your experience with wire fraud and cybercrime.

Cyberattacks have become more prevalent and increasingly sophisticated; in fact, CertifID data from early 2023 found reported instances of wire fraud have increased 145% year over year. Remaining vigilant is now more important than ever.

Your participation in this study helps ALTA continue to raise awareness and encourage federal agencies and policymakers to focus on the threat of wire fraud and cybercrime. Additionally, the results from the study will help you discover what other title agents are doing to protect their businesses from monetary and reputational losses.

It’s important to know:

  1. This study will take less than 10 minutes to complete!
  2. Your individual responses will remain anonymous and only aggregated data will be reported.
  3. Most questions ask for estimates or ranges for losses. Don’t worry about providing exact figures.
  4. Before you start the study, we suggest you discuss this topic with others in your organization, so you have a complete understanding of the types and frequency of cyberattacks affecting your company. If someone else in your company is better equipped to complete this study, please forward them this email.
