- Title Acceptance Pilot
  In March 2024, the Biden administration announced a Title Acceptance Pilot, which waives the requirement for lender’s title insurance on certain refinances. ALTA called the announcement a political gesture offering a false promise of savings for homeowners while exposing consumers, lenders and taxpayers to greater financial risk.

  The proposed rule by U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) will require title and settlement companies nationwide to report information about all-cash residential transactions nationwide involving legal entities and trusts.

ALTA Hosted Agent & Abstracter Program

This program is designed to help fund the participation of small agents and abstracters at 2025 ALTA ONE. You must have a current membership and qualify as one of the following: Agent, Abstracter, or Real Estate Attorney membership with less than $700 in dues. The hosts of this program are FNF Family of Companies and ALTA's Land Title Institute (LTI).

The application process will open on May 21, 2025 and close at 4:55 PM ET on June 13, 2025. You will be notified if you have been chosen by June 20, 2025. If you are chosen, we will register you for the conference and you will receive an email with a link to make your hotel reservation.

All recipients of the program will receive a complimentary meeting registration to 2025 ALTA ONE and a 3-night stay at The Hilton New York Midtown (hotel room rate and tax only - all other charges will be paid for by the individual).
