Capital Land Settlements Expands South Florida Footprint

November 19, 2013

Capital Land Settlements, a multi-state title insurance and settlement company, increased its footprint in Florida by opening a new Miami office and adding title insurance veteran Tony Clymer.

A seasoned professional of the title insurance industry, Clymer has worked for several firms including LandAmerica Financial Group.

“Working for LandAmerica gave me significant experience in all types of real estate transactions from simple residential deals to complex, multi-million dollar development projects,” said Clymer, a graduate of Capital University Law School. “My legal and real estate experience in Ohio included working as a solo practitioner where I focused on maintaining a very high level of customer service and close attention to all of the details involved in real estate transactions.”

He also graduated cum laude from Ohio University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Currently operating in Tennessee and Florida, Capital Land has witnessed a sharp increase of real estate transactions in the South Florida market.

“Real Estate is on the rise again in South Florida due to an influx of investment driven funds, as well as foreign buyers who desire a second home or vacation home in the Magic City,” Clymer said.

He added that Capital remains focused on catering to the customer, meanwhile implementing cutting-edge technology for compliance with ALTA’s Best Practices and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
