The Docket: Dueling Dinosaurs’ Minerals Surface

Ron Damashek of the Illinois law firm of Stahl Cowen Crowley Addis LLC provided today’s review of a Ninth Circuit panel decision concerning whether valuable dinosaur bones constitute surface or mineral rights. Although the decision is subject to en banc review, it poses an intriguing question of real property law that you may just want to sink your teeth into.
