Knight Barry Title Adds Second Office in Florida Panhandle

Knight Barry Title recently completed an acquisition and now has a second Florida location.

The Milwaukee-based company purchased Main Street Land Title Inc., a Crestview, Fla.-based operation formerly owned by husband and wife Nathan and Crystal Boyles. It is Knight Barry Title’s second Florida acquisition in less than two months. The company now operates a total of 61 offices spread across Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan, in addition to Florida. The other Knight Barry Title Florida office is in Pensacola.

“This is the continuation of great things here in Florida for us,” said Jeff Green, Knight Barry Title Group’s CEO. “We’re ready to get to work in Downtown Crestview with a trusted team that knows the local landscape well. As an independent, family-owned business ourselves, we salute the hard work the Boyles family has put in here.”

Main Street Title’s five employees are all continuing their work with Knight Barry Title. The Boyles will stay with the company during the transition before concentrating on other pursuits.

Nathan Boyles said Knight Barry Title appeared on his radar as a potential partner after the company’s acquisition in Pensacola. Boyles recalled that he “instantly got a really good feeling” during his first meeting with Craig Haskins, Knight Barry Title’s chief operating officer.

“It looked to us like they had a model to be competitive moving forward as the title business continues to evolve, and yet would do so in a way that would take good care of our employees and customers,” Boyles said. “We have a qualified, experienced staff that has great relationships with our Realtors and client base in Crestview and none of that changes.”
