North Dakota Guaranty and Title Selects New President

January 12, 2012

North Dakota Guaranty and Title Company announced that Tim Pearson has been named the company’s new president. The company’s board of directors appointed Pearson president effective Jan. 1, according to Timothy Atkinson, chairman of the board of directors. “The combination of Tim’s extensive background in the land title industry, his experience in North Dakota land title markets and large national markets, and his current role in implementing NDGT’s strategy make Tim an excellent person for the position,” Atkinson said.

Pearson previously served as a senior vice-president of the company and has 32 years of experience in the title industry in southern California and North Dakota. He currently serves on the Stewart Title Guaranty National Advisory Board and is active in the American Land Title Association.

“I’m grateful for the confidence the board of directors placed in me,” Pearson said. “I look forward to leading North Dakota Guaranty and Title Company as we continue to grow and provide the highest quality land title services in all of our markets. These are very exciting times to be in business in North Dakota.”

North Dakota Guaranty and Title Company was founded in 1956 and has offices in Bismarck, Dickinson, Killdeer, Mandan, Minot, Mohall, Watford City and Williston, providing state-wide residential and commercial land title information services across North Dakota. The corporate office is located in Bismarck.
