The ALTA Tech Forum Call for Presentations opens each fall and the deadline for proposals falls near December 1st each year.

Who Review the Proposals
Educational content for the Tech Forum is developed using the proposals in combination with specific committee guidance. All proposals are reviewed by ALTA's Technology Committee with the intention of forming a well rounded educational program.

Hints for Successful Proposals
- Proposals are expected to be company and product neutral, educational in focus, and well-formed.
- Session name and description should be proposed using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Complete contact inforation should be provided for all proposed presenters and panelists.
- Carefully consider the mix of speakers and panelists. If you are a vendor, you may want to team up with a customer for formation of a case study.
- If any part of the content of your proposal is vendor or company specific, you should consider forming a panel with presenters from competitor companies. These types of panel presentations are very popular and have proven to be successful.
- Presenters can draft and refine proposals using word processing software and then block and copy the proposed session description into the form.

Suggested Content
Content areas change slightly from year to year, many are related to title insurance operation and most are related to technology. A list of appropriate content areas can be found in the drop-down box on the "Call for Presentations" form. Here are some examples of approved content:
