Pioneer Title Agency Earns Arizona Corporate Excellence Award for Community Impact

September 30, 2014

Pioneer Title Agency was honored recently with a 2014 Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Award, which recognizes the innovations and positive community impact of the Arizona’s most successful private businesses.

Keith Newlon, co-founder and president of Pioneer Title Agency, said Pioneer Title’s leadership and team members are active in Realtor associations across Arizona as well as local chambers of commerce and other economic development and real estate-focused organizations, such as the American Land Title Association, Land Title Association of Arizona, Arizona State Escrow Association, Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association and Women’s Counsel of Realtors.

“As active in our commitment to the community as to our professional services, Pioneer also has a statewide community relations program, Pioneer Title Agency in Action, which focuses on giving back both time and money to hundreds of local causes across our state,” Newlon said.

The spirit of the award is to honor organizations that have given back to Arizona communities for the greater cause. In addition to being named among the 2014 overall honorees, Pioneer Title Agency was also surprised with one of the four major ACE “Spotlight Awards,” in the category of Community Impact. Pioneer Title donated more than $207,000 to 218 nonprofits in 2013.

“We build our business model dealing with customers in rural Arizona, and we really wondered whether or not that business model would work in the big city,” Newlon told the Phoenix Business Journal. “If you get good people and good people feel like it’s a good place to be, you treat people as if you’re going to run into them at the soccer fields or at the stores … they respond to that.”

A local, family-owned business, Pioneer Title Agency has grown to more than 50 offices in more than 35 cities across Arizona by remaining focused on a “Commitment to Service” since its inception.

“For the past 18 years, the ACE Awards have worked toward cultivating a sense of community and information exchange amongst the Valley’s premiere private organizations,” said Jo Pullen, events director for the Phoenix Business Journal. “By participating in the ACE program, local business leaders are given the opportunity to network and learn from their high-performing peers, creating an environment of innovation and excellence.”
