Title Financial Corp. Increases Footprint in Wyoming and Idaho

May 6, 2014

Idaho-based Title Financial Corp. expanded its presence in Wyoming and added another office in Idaho.

The new acquisitions increase TFC’s coverage area to a total of 58 counties in Idaho, Montana, Washington and Wyoming.

On April 30, TFC announced the acquisition of Laramie County Abstract & Title Co. in Cheyenne, Wyo. The move into southeastern Wyoming broadens TFC’s footprint to five counties in Wyoming with offices in Jackson, Gillette, Buffalo and Cheyenne.

Laramie County Title & Abstract has provided title and escrow services for over 65 years in Laramie County.

“We are excited to be in Cheyenne and feel that this market is an excellent fit with our core competencies and company culture,” said Quinn Stufflebeam, chief executive officer of Title Financial Corp. “Expanding into Wyoming will provide additional opportunities for us to continue serving local, regional and national clients.”

TFC continues to grow and expand in Idaho. In February, Caribou Land Title Inc., now First American Title Company, joined Title Financial Corporation’s family of offices. TFC’s Idaho subsidiary, First American Title Company now provides title and escrow services in 29 Idaho counties.

“Since our inception, 109 years ago,” said Stufflebeam, “we have been fortunate to enjoy success as we’ve moved into the different counties throughout Idaho. The acquisition of Caribou County is an opportunity to provide superior service in a greater area of coverage for our clients.”
