SoftPro Links to First American’s AgentNet

July 29, 2014

SoftPro, a provider of closing and escrow software, announced the integration of First American Title’s AgentNet software. SoftPro customers who are agents of First American Title Insurance Company will be able to share data between SoftPro’s 360 platform and First American’s AgentNet software.

Agents of First American use AgentNet to generate closing protection letters (CPLs), policy jackets and policy numbers, and to search for back title (where available). The newly integrated services allow customers to calculate First American rates and fees within SoftPro 360 for automatic carryover to AgentNet. Additionally, customers can now search for Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) within SoftPro 360.

“The improved functionality of the SoftPro 360/AgentNet integration saves those customers of ours who are agents of First American an enormous amount of time while offering improved efficiencies,” said Patrick Hempen, Softpro’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “The fact that the system is now customized to calculate First American’s rates and fees for title insurance provides increased time savings for our customers.”

AgentNet availability in the free SoftPro 360 portal eliminates retyping and will improve both back office operational efficiency and data consistency across the systems.
