SoftPro Integrates with Data Trace’s Texas Tax Service

May 27, 2014

SoftPro, a supplier of title, closing and escrow software, integrated its SoftPro 360 business exchange tool with Data Trace Information Services’ specialty tax service for Texas. As a provider of title plant, tax information and document images nationally, Data Trace’s Texas Tax service provides tax information on residential and commercial properties across all 254 Texas counties.

“SoftPro is pleased to offer the Data Trace integration for our settlement agents who perform real estate transactions in the state of Texas,” said Patrick Hempen, SoftPro’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “It’s a huge benefit to them in terms of time savings and accuracy to not have to rekey data from their SoftPro software.”

Data Trace’s Texas Tax solution provides settlement agents with information on amounts due to all taxing jurisdictions, prior year’s delinquency status (if applicable), and the current year’s breakdown and payoff amounts for both commercial and residential properties. SoftPro 360, a free tool for SoftPro users, enables orders for third-party vendors’ services to be sent and received while working in SoftPro, eliminating the need for paper order forms, faxes, emails, phone calls and dual data entry.

The Data Trace integration with SoftPro 360 streamlines ordering processes by allowing SoftPro users to work from a single system.
