ALTA Awards Texas Agent National Title Professional Designation

ALTA announced it has awarded John P. Bruce of Cedar Park, Texas, a National Title Professional (NTP) designation.

The NTP designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.

“This designation is a testament to John Bruce’s vast experience and display of professionalism in the land title industry,” said ALTA President Frank Pellegrini. “John’s commitment to the industry is admirable, and it is our honor to award him a National Title Professional designation.”

Bruce has been in the land title industry for more than 20 years and is currently the senior vice president of the commercial division at Austin, Texas-based Heritage Title Company. An active member of the Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), Bruce serves on multiple committees and was named TLTA’s Certified Title Insurance Associate in 2009. He also serves on ALTA’s education committee.
