The Docket: Missouri Court Holds Knowledge of Zoning Code Violation Triggers Coverage

January 30, 2024

Shawn Briner, an attorney with the law firm Briner Law Group, provided today’s review of a decision by the Missouri Court of Appeals that held an insurer’s knowledge of a pending zoning code violation lawsuit resulted in coverage of Covered Risk 5 of an ALTA 6-17-06 Owner’s Policy despite lack of notice in the public record.
