Dodd Frank and the Killer Qs

The Dodd Frank Act includes an ability to repay standard unless a lender makes a "qualified mortgage" and mandates risk retention when securitizing loans which are not "qualified residential mortgages." Learn the content and status of the rules and how they will change the settlement service landscape. The session will focus on the impact to those in the title industry including those with affiliated business arrangements. Attendees will leave the session with an understanding of the impact that Dodd Frank regulations defining qualified mortgages and qualified residential mortgages will have on their businesses and how to respond to these changes.
