ALTA Statement on Confirmation of Jonathan McKernan as Treasury’s Under Secretary for Domestic Finance

The American Land Title Association (ALTA) released the following statement on the Senate’s confirmation of Jonathan McKernan to serve as Treasury’s Under Secretary for Domestic Finance.

“ALTA congratulates Jonathan McKernan on his confirmation as Under Secretary for Domestic Finance. We look forward to working with him in his new role and believe he will bring a thoughtful approach to matters impacting housing finance and the broader real estate market.

“ALTA remains committed to continuing our collaboration with the Administration including with Treasury to promote a future for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that prioritizes market stability, protects consumers and preserves access to sustainable and secure homeownership.”
