Why Our Industry Is Powered by You

October 22, 2026

As he concluded his term as ALTA president, David Townsend Esq., NTP reflected on a year spent traveling the country, meeting members and advocating for the title industry. Along the way, he discovered what he believes may be one of the industry's biggest challenges. "We don't have an industry problem," Townsend said. "We have a storytelling problem." Townsend used his remarks to emphasize that the industry's success is driven not by a handful of leaders but by thousands of professionals working in communities across the country.
