October 8, 2026
Kansas Secured Title Inc. acquired Frazee Abstract and Title Inc., effective Oct. 1. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition extends Kansas Secured Title's footprint into the southwest corner of the state, adding coverage across nine counties currently served by Frazee Abstract and Title, with physical locations in Syracuse and Ulysses.
“We are thrilled to welcome our newest team members, especially knowing they are just as passionate about exceptional service and community involvement as we are," said Michelle Coffey and Michelle Meador, co-presidents of Kansas Secured Title.
As part of the acquisition, Frazee Abstract and Title will retain all current staff. No noticeable changes in day-to-day operations are anticipated, allowing business to proceed smoothly and without interruption, according to company leaders, a release reported.
"For years, Frazee Abstract and Title has been proud to serve our local communities by building lasting relationships through dependable service and attention to detail. We believe joining Kansas Secured Title allows us to expand on those principles and we look forward to this new chapter with them,” said Denise Finlay of Frazee Abstract and Title Inc.
Company leaders said the acquisition positions Kansas Secured Title to serve an even broader range of real estate professionals and homebuyers throughout southwest Kansas. The company is a subsidiary of
Title Midwest Inc., which has offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan.
"We are ecstatic about the opportunity this acquisition provides us for our Kansas operations," said Kevin Mohr, chief operating officer of Title Midwest. "I have worked with Denise for many years on different projects, as well as serving with her and Casey Finlay in the Kansas Land Title Association. This is our first expansion into western Kansas, and that expansion is made easier because of the experienced staff and great leadership that Frazee Abstract has in place. We look forward to continued support of Kansas Secured Title expanding into other parts of the state for years to come."
