CertifID Expands Fraud Prevention Platform with Acquisition of Closinglock

October 1, 2026

The acquisition combines CertifID's identity verification and fraud recovery services with Closinglock's escrow management and secure payment platform. The companies said the move is intended to create a more seamless approach to protecting participants, funds and communications throughout the closing process. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
