N.Y. Court Upholds Dismissal of Recording Vendor From Title Insurance Dispute

A New York appellate court has affirmed the dismissal of claims against a recording vendor in dispute stemming from the failure to timely record a mortgage, reinforcing the legal hurdles title agents may face when attempting to shift liability to third-party service providers.
