Stewart Acquires Majority Interest in Rattikin Title

Stewart Title acquired a majority interest in Fort Worth, Texas-based Rattikin Title Co.
Rattikin Title has served commercial and residential customers across the state for more than 80 years. The acquisition joins two of the most well-known brands in title insurance in Texas and renews a shared history between the companies and their founders dating back more than a century. In 2025, Stewart captured 12% of the market share in Texas.

Jack Rattikin Sr., who was ALTA's president in 1940, formed Rattikin Title in 1944. Jack Rattikin III, who was ALTA’s 2023 president, served as the the title company's CEO until his passing in February.
