ALTA Congratulates Latest NTP Designees

Nancy Lewellen SDTP, NTP, president of Hand County Title Co. in Miller, S.D, and Kim Connelly-Cruz, president of Fidelity National Title Agency of Utah, joined the list of title professionals who have earned their national title professional designation from ALTA. Nancy Lewellen SDTP, NTP is president of Hand County Title Co. in Miller, S.D. She purchased the company in 2009 and been with the company for 21 years. A licensed abstracter, Lewellen earned her South Dakota Title Professional (SDTP) designation in May 2024. She is a member of the South Dakota Land Title Association, serving as its secretary/treasurer. Lewellen also serves on the Member Engagement, Welcoming & Hosting and Convention Planning committees.
Kim Connelly-Cruz NTP is president of Fidelity National Title Agency of Utah. She has 36 years of combined experience in the title and real estate services industry, including 32 years with Fidelity National Title. Connelly-Cruz is a member of the Utah Land Title Association (ULTA). She served on ULTA’s board of directors for three years and previously served as vice president of the Capitol Region and Membership. She currently serves as an ULTA liaison to the Department of Insurance’s Title and Escrow Commission and serves on the commission’s board. Connelly-Cruz also has shared her expertise by presenting educational sessions for ULTA’s conference and authoring articles for the association’s monthly newsletter.
