DataTrace has launched an AI-powered title insurance policy marketplace designed to transform how title professionals find, evaluate and monetize prior policies. 

Called StarterIQ, the nationwide platform provides a digital ecosystem where title professionals can find prior policies and share in the value they create.

StarterIQ has over 40 million starters and will reach 70 million in the next six months, according to DataTrace. It’s powered by AI-driven data capture, geospatial context and automated ranking to identify the best match in seconds. Contributing title professionals can securely monetize their title policies, commitments and preliminary reports through a built-in revenue-sharing model, creating new income opportunities, while enriching the marketplace with ever-expanding, comprehensive data. 

With StarterIQ, DataTrace said title agents, examiners, underwriters, and attorneys can:

  • Locate the best-fit starter through the platform’s advanced AI-driven logic and Recommended Starter Experience, which evaluates all matched policies and highlights the highest-ranked results for the subject property, adjacent parcels or larger subdivisions.
  • Leverage structured data parsed from Schedule A and B—including insured and vesting entities, loan details, legal descriptions, policy exceptions and more. Through the DataTrace Digital Gateway API integration, both images and data can be delivered directly into title production systems for a seamless workflow.
