ALTA Congratulates Latest NTP Designees

Gavin Winter NTP, owner and president of Winter Title & Abstract Co., and Stephen (Mickey) Gerdes II, CTIP, NTP, vice president of national underwriting for Essent Title Insurance Inc., joined the list of title professionals who have earned their national title professional designation from ALTA. Gavin Winter MTP, NTP, owner and president of Winter Title & Abstract Co., and Stephen (Mickey) Gerdes II, CTIP, NTP, vice president of national underwriting for Essent Title Insurance Inc., joined the list of title professionals who have earned their national title professional designation from ALTA.

Winter is a member of ALTA’s Education Committee, Digital Work Group and State Advocacy Network. He is the current president of the Minnesota Land Title Association.

Gerdes has 25 years of experience in the title insurance industry. He has served as a TIPAC state trustee for the past three years. In addition, he’s a member of the Title Action Network, Title Counsel, the Best Practices Work Group and State Advocacy network. Gerdes is vice chair of the Texas Land Title Association’s PAC, and serves on TLTA’s Legislative and Judiciary committees. He earned the association’s Certified Title Insurance Professional (CTIP) designation.
