New ALTA President: 'We’re More Than Title’

October 9, 2025

Under the bright lights of Times Square, David Townsend Esq, NTP, the 2025-26 ALTA president, delivered an inspiring—and often humorous—address that set the tone for his year of leadership. Drawing from personal experience, industry insight and a few laughs with Saturday Night Live legend Rachel Dratch, Townsend’s message was clear: fortune favors the bold. He wants people to understand the industry is more than issuing title insurance policy, it also is a real estate data and finance industry.
