CFPB Seeks Comments on Proposed Rulemaking About Personal Financial Data Rights

August 26, 2025

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) to collect public comments and data to inform its reconsideration of the earlier Personal Financial Data Rights (PFDR) Rule based on Section 1033 of the Dodd-Frank Act.
